Troopers seek public's help locating missing Morris man

MORRIS – The New York State Police are currently investigating a missing person from Morris. Yishiro A. Hamata (aka: Tyrell Avery Rogers) 31, Morris, has been missing since June 16, 2015.

Hamata is described as a black male who is approximately 6’ 01” and weighs between 285 and 300 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray pullover sweatshirt, jeans, and black shoes. Hamata has a tattoo on his left arm of the initials “KOC” with red starts running down from the letters. On his right inner forearm he has a tattoo of a Chinese symbol for the word phantom.

On June, 18 at approximately 9:30 p.m., in the Town of New Berlin, State Troopers responded to a report of an unoccupied vehicle parked on Pat Farley Road. The vehicle is described as a gray 1995 Chrysler Cirrus. As determined by an investigation, Hamata may have last been seen in the area of Oneonta on June 16.
