The Sherburne Fire Department, with assistance from the North Norwich Fire Department and Chenango County Fire Bureau, responded to this one-car motor vehicle accident on state Highway 12B in the Town of Sherburne shortly after noon on Wednesday. It was reported that the female driver overturned her Ford SUV before coming to a stop on the shoulder of the road. Mercy Flight was called to have the driver airlifted to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. Officials have not yet released details of the accident or the name and condition of the driver.
