Let’s hit the road, Patrollers! They always say that the Postman has to deliver in rain, snow, sleet, or hail. We can do one better. While the DVD Patrol was doing our thing, Your Commander, the Toddster, was on the bridge when a tire came off a truck and hit our patrol-mobile. It’s a little banged up, but the Toddster is still in one piece. Something like this makes you think a bit and it made me get a little nostalgic. Time to take a look back at our #1 movies with some heroes over the last few years.

Batman Begins (2005) - Every hero has to start someplace. Bruce Wayne’s (Christian Bale) parents were killed when a thief killed them during a failed robbery. This type of thing can have quite an effect on you. Bruce makes it his mission to find the tools he can to fight for justice. Henri Ducard (Liam Neeson) finds Bruce and see something that might make him a perfect candidate to work for his boss Ra’s Al Ghaul (Ken Watanabe). Bruce gets what he needs but becomes aware of Ghaul’s plans for Gotham City. He escapes and returns to the life he abandoned years earlier. Will Bruce get what he needs to complete his transformation into the hero he is destined to be and stop Ghaul? See Bale continue his fight in “The Dark Knight” when he battles the Joker on DVD and a third sequel is already in the works.
