FRISCO,TX— At the end of July, Norwich’s Brevin Bennett took the big stage at PGA Frisco for the junior PGA golf championships among a field of 156 boys under 100 degree temperatures. He shot a 82 on the first day and fought back to hit a four over par for a 76 on the second and final day.
“He competed. He adjusted. He kept fighting,” quoted his coach Brendon Elliott. “Brevin is the number one ranked player in New York’s Class of 2030 and ranked among the top 200 players globally in his class. Those rankings matter, but they still do not fully capture his potential, his work ethic, or the golfer he is becoming. Brevin Bennett is just getting started.”
Bennett will also be attending another big tournament in Louisiana in November.
Great job!
