COOPERSTOWN— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls’ basketball team traveled to Cooperstown on Thursday night in a tough league divisional matchup. The Hawkeyes defeated S-E 62-34.
Morgan Mikalunas led the Lady Timberwolves with 16 points, going two-for-two at the free-throw line and added seven rebounds.
Cora Franklin and Natalie Knickerbocker both added six points. Franklin finished four-for-four at the free-throw line as Knickerbocker knocked down two three’s. Franklin also had five rebounds.
Brynn Shaver finished with five points, going three-for-four at the free-throw line with a team-high five steals.
Abbie Green led S-E with eight rebounds as Peyton Darragh had one block in the loss.
S-E (10-8) heads to Morrisville-Eaton on Monday at 7 p.m.
