SHERBURNE - With dangerous sub-zero temperatures and chilling high winds forecasted for the weekend, the Friends of Rogers are moving the Winter Living Celebration to February 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Mother nature often guides us in ways we wouldn’t expect, and we’re adapting to what she has in store for us this February,” said David Carson, executive director for the Friends of Rogers. “By moving the event to February 14th, we will offer the community an opportunity to celebrate their love for one another and their love for Rogers on Valentine’s Day, right here at one of our most beloved community treasures.”
While most event details will remain the same, such as live music in the Sugar Shack and ice-fishing demonstrations on the pond, some event details will change. For updates leading up to the event, interested visitors are invited to stay current on the Friends of Rogers Facebook and Instagram pages.
Winter Living Celebration 2026 is made possible by volunteers and community partners, and accessible free of charge thanks to the following sponsors: Visions Federal Credit Union, NBT Bank and Insurance, Pennysaver/The Evening Sun, LaBella Associates, Chenango Valley Technologies, Preferred Mutual, Laral Management, and Blueox Energy.
