SOUTH OTSELIC — The Otselic Valley Vikings boys’ basketball team cruised to an impressive 67-43 victory at home over Cincinnatus on Friday night. It was the fourth consecutive game that the Vikings scored at least 50 points or more.
OV played a tremendous second half, where they outscored the Red Lions 36-18 after taking a brief 31-25 lead at the break.
Lukas Schieferstein led the Vikings with 27 points and had six rebounds and three three-pointers. It was Scheiferstein’s 10th game of scoring 20 points or more this season.
Owen Davis had an outstanding game as well for the Vikings as he added 23 points and matched Schieferstein with six rebounds.
Caleb Loomis impressed as he posted a double-double with 11 points and a team-high 12 steals with nine assists and nine rebounds.
Logan Foster, Tommy Kenyon, and Konyr Clemens all had two points in the win.
OV improves to 7-5 on the season and takes their current two-game win streak into Tuesday’s matchup at Brookfield at 7 p.m.
