CONKLIN — The Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ basketball team traveled to take on Sus Valley on Friday night, where they looked to avenge a tough loss from January 8. However, Norwich fell to the Sabers in a tough 61-52 battle.

Brooklyn Burke led Norwich with 14 points as Emma Urgo added 11 and Brynley Ryan with 10 points.

Kerragan Reid finished with nine points and Josey Ryan came away with eight points in the loss.

Norwich (8-2) heads to Waverly on January 30 at 7:15 p.m.
