NORWICH—After competing in Clyde Cole over the weekend, the Norwich Purple Tornado Wrestling team hosted Windsor in the first home meet of the season. Norwich fell 52-27 to the Black Knights.
Norwich eighth grader Koltyn Collins, who went 1-3 at Clyde Cole, earned his second win by pin of the season in a quick :27 seconds in the 103 weight class.
Jadyn Carpenter pinned Windsor's Gavin Decker in 2:15 to improve to 4-1 as Bryce Wellington picked up his fifth win of the season as he pinned his opponent in :50 seconds at 150 pounds.
