DELHI — The Oxford Blackhawks girls’ soccer team traveled to Delhi on Tuesday, where they earned a 2-0 shutout victory on the road.
Jayne Fleury and Kayla Knapp both scored for Oxford off assists from Paige Rickard and Colette Kappauf.
“ The girls consistently demonstrate their teamwork and determination throughout each game,” Coach Rachel Seiler said. “ Following a challenging game last night against Sidney, the girls arrived prepared top perform from the start tonight. Kayla achieved an impressive one-on-one goal and Jayne executed a beautiful volley for our second goal. The girls continue to distribute the ball effectively.”
Oxford improves to 8-2-1 on the season and will face an unbeaten Bainbridge-Guilford on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. for the final game of the regular season.
