B-G golf falls to D-H

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats golf team hosted Deposit-Hancock for a MAC league contest at Sundown on Tuesday. B-G fell 237-264.

B-G also honored its class of 2026 seniors. Congratulations.

Braison Ives led the Bobcats with a 48 as Cole Fleming shot a 52 and Mason Buchanan and Gavin Dicks both tied with 54s. Kate Baciuska finished with a 56 and Levi Nightengale was the sixth golfer for B-G with a 59*.

Deposit-Hancock’s scores ranged from a low 39 to a high 53.

B-G (3-9) hosts Sidney on October 2 at 3:45 p.m.

Norwich golf defeats Seton in a tiebreaker

BINGHAMTON — The Norwich Purple Tornado golf team traveled back to Ely park on Tuesday this time to take on Seton Catholic. Both teams tied at 206, where the sixth golfer scores mattered. Norwich’s Jacob Lobdell was that sixth golfer and helped Norwich win 53-55.

Brevin Bennett led Norwich with an all-around low of a 35 as Matthew Brunick finished with a 40 and Gavin Burrell with a 42. Michael Brunick followed with a 43 as Charlie Smith shot a 46.

Norwich (9-1) hosts both Windsor and Sus Valley to close out the 2025 regular season.

Oxford golf rolls on with win over Greene at home

OXFORD – The Oxford Blackhawks golf team hosted neighboring Greene on Tuesday for its final home match of the season at Bluestone. Oxford improved to 11-1 with a 212-237 victory. Oxford reigns the MAC standings over both Delhi and Greene.

Oxford’s Bennett Paden led all golfers with a 33 on the par-34 course. Degan Endress followed with a 41 as Blake Barrows shot a 42 and Clayton Carlson with a 46. Uri Tracy finished with a 50 as Kevin Northrup had a 51*.

Trent Drew led the Trojans with a 38 as Max Drozen shot a 47 and Cooper Flanagan with a 48. Kiefer Evans and Orion Lamen both finished with a 52 while Logan Roth had a 54*.

Oxford (11-1) finishes the 2025 regular season on the road at Unatego and UV/GMU (Sherburne) while Greene (9-4) ends the regular season at Hancock on October 2 at 3:30 p.m.
