NORWICH– The Chenango County Historical Society (CCHS) has been selected to receive a Preservation Survey through the Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services for NY (DHPSNY) Planning & Assessment Services.
The Preservation Survey will focus on preventive care and mitigating deterioration and damage by analyzing the physical environment of the museum’s archival spaces.
Since 1939, CCHS has collected a range of objects related to regional history. Museum collections are cultural resources which allow CCHS to share the stories of local people, places, activities, and events.
