New York State Police Continue Investigation Into Disappearance Of Michele Harris

SIDNEY - On the 24th anniversary of Michele Harris’ disappearance, the New York State Police remain committed to finding answers in this case. Harris was last seen on September 11, 2001. Despite extensive investigation, her whereabouts remain unknown.

In the coming weeks, State Police investigators will be conducting additional searches for evidence related to this case. These efforts reflect our continued determination to locate Michele and provide a resolution for her family and the community.

While there has been public attention on a private reward and tip line, the New York State Police would like to clarify that this tip line is not connected to our agency. If any information has been provided to that tip line, it has not been shared with State Police.
