NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ soccer team hosted a non-league matchup against MAC contenders Walton/Downsville.

After a slow start, Norwich came away victorious with a 7-0 shutout.

Josey Ryan led the Purple Tornado with four goals and an assist. Daphney Frank added two goals while Emma Baker had a goal and an assist. Quinn Terry contributed with four assists in the win.

Norwich (1-4) will be in Unadilla Valley's NY Pizzeria tournament this weekend.
