OV Girls Fall Short To Madison

MADISON – The Otselic Valley Vikings girls’ soccer team were on the road facing Madison on Wednesday. The Vikings, under Coach Jordan Hicks this season, fell short 2-1 to the Blue Devils. OV began the 2025 season on September 8 at Cincinnatus in a 8-1 deficit.

The Vikings played a hard-fought game with Izzy Neal doing a stellar job in goal, noted Hicks, making many key saves, including one on a penalty kick. Neal made a total of 15 saves.

Junior Forward Kimmy Miron-Blanco scored the lone goal for OV in the loss.

OV (0-2) hosts McGraw on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
