OXFORD - Kids may be back at school and vacations may feel like distant memories, but summer is still in full swing at the Oxford Farmers’  Markets where vendors continue offering  a huge abundance late-summer fruits and vegetables at their absolute peak of freshness.

So even with the cooler weather descending and the days getting shorter, you can still step back into all the joys of a summer day every Saturday morning - rain or shine - throughout the month of September, 9 am - noon on Lafayette Park.

In addition to these wonderful seasonal items, vendors this week will also have beautiful mushrooms; locally raised and processed beef, pork, lamb and chicken; gorgeous cut flowers and flowering plants; chicken, duck and turkey eggs;  local cheeses; artisan  breads and other fresh baked goods; locally-sourced crackers and grain products; fudges, and jams; local hard ciders; maple syrup and honey; hand-made healthy treats for dogs; hand-made soaps, lotions and balms; and items for the kitchen and home. Every product straight from a local  source and the skilled hands of your neighbors.

And this week, a musical duo new to the Market, Jericho Beauty and The Downtown Cowboy, will be performing in the Bandstand.

The Market is open 9 am to noon. Music in the Bandstand start at 10 a.m.
