B-G Advances To Flannery Championship Game After Shutout Win Over Sidney

DOWNSVILLE – Coming off a big win against Livingston Manor in the first round, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls’ soccer team returned to Downsville for the semifinals of the Jane Flannery tournament. The Bobcats faced familiar MAC foe Sidney and advanced to the championship game with the 6-0 shutout.

Kamry Patten led the Bobcats with two goals with assists by Jayslin Henderson and Carleigh Judd.

Judd and Henderson also had their own goals with assists by Tori Suda and Breanna Casey.

Henderson finished with three assists on the night, also assisting on Breegan George and Keelan Ammon’s goals.

B-G was heavy on shots on goal, making the Sidney goalkeeper work, saving about 20 shots while Danica Park made three saves in goal for the Bobcats.

B-G (3-0) heads to the tournament championship game on Friday at 7 p.m.
