NORWICH — The Norwich Theater Company, Inc. (NTCI) will be holding auditions for "Nunsense: The Mega Musical" from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 25 and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27 at the Martin W. Kappel Theater in the Chenango Arts Council, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich.

Director Terry Colf said the show is about "a bunch of nuns that are putting on a variety show ... to raise money to bury some of their unfortunately deceased sisters."

He said in addition to performing on stage, the cast will also be interacting with the audience as part of the show.

The NTCI will be looking for five women to play the lead roles of Reverend Mother Mary Regina, Sister Mary Hubert, Sister Mary Leo, Sister Mary Amnesia, and Sister Robert Anne. They are also seeking men and women to fill supporting roles, as well as middle schoolers aged 11 to 14.
