NORWICH - Time is running out for early registration for the 2024 Turkey Trot, Norwich’s annual 5K race held by the YMCA.

Runners have until November 15 to register; race day is on November 24.

The Turkey Trot kicks off at 12:30 p.m. from the YMCA on North Broad Street and includes events for all ages, such as the Kids’ Neighborhood Fun Run—a free, half-mile race for children.

Early registrants will receive a race shirt, an array of refreshments, including an Arby’s Turkey Sandwich, and entries into various age brackets from under-11 up to 80-plus. Early registrations are at a discounted rate of $30 for adults. After Nov. 15 fee rises to $35.

Later registration is available on race day starting at 10 a.m. Participants are encouraged to sign up in advance to save their spot and ensure they receive a racing shirt on the day of the event.
