SHERBURNE-EARLVILLE – On Thursday, the Sherburne-Earlville boys soccer team suffered a tough 7-1 loss to Frankfort-Schuyler.

While The Maroon Knights scored seven goals, including five in the second half, they struck the net numerous times as S-E’s Avery Parsons made 31 saves in the loss.

The Marauders’ lone goal came from Garret Winton, his first of the season. S-E could not keep up against a strong defense who held them to just two shots on goal.

S-E is still hopeful that they will find their first win of the season with three games remaining. They host Waterville on Saturday, starting at 11 a.m.
