Roy Orbison Tribute To Perform At The Bainbridge Town Hall Theatre
Published: May 5th, 2022

BAINBRIDGE — The Jericho Arts Council presents “Only The Lonely," a Roy Orbison Tribute in concert at the Bainbridge Town Hall Theatre Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m.

It's been said that it is impossible to duplicate the voice of Roy Orbison. That may have been true — until now. The voice of The Big O is back and as amazing as ever with “Only The Lonely." This incredibly talented group of performers has brought the songs of the great Roy Orbison back to the stage.

The look, the incredible voice and the legendary tunes make this performance a memorable one — Oh Pretty Woman, Only The Lonely, Crying, Blue Angel, In Dreams, It's Over, and many more of Orbison's songs are brought to life in front of your eyes and ears. This is a performance not to be missed by any music fan.

In addition, there’s always a special treat when you come to musical events at the Town Hall Theatre. Before the show, enjoy music played on the theatre’s residence organ built in 1933, one of only five Æolian/Skinner residence organs ever built for upstate New York, and the only one known to be intact and in playable condition.

Popcorn, popped with real butter in their vintage 1940’s popcorn machine, is available, as well as home baked goods, freshly brewed coffee, soda, and bottled water.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and all performances are open seating. Tickets will be available at the door or you may reserve ahead by calling at 607-288-3882.

The evening of the show the Fine Arts Showcase will be in the art gallery and feature works in four categories: oil and acrylic paintings, watercolor and gouache paintings, drawing, graphics and mixed media, and photography and digital art.

The gallery is open before the show and until the end of intermission and is free to the public. Check www.jerichoarts.com for a listing of future events and ticket prices.
