NORWICH — The City of Norwich is seeking proposals for the purchase of a house located at 10 Prospect Street in Norwich, to be used as an owner-occupied, single family dwelling.

The 1,584 square foot house is 1.5 stories, with one to two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has been assessed at a value of $34,700, with an approximate annual total of $2,831.70 in taxes.

An opportunity to view the home will take place on Tuesday, April 12. Open house hours are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Purchase proposals are available on the city's website, norwichnewyork.net, under the "What's New" section. All proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26.

Proposals should include a description of the proposed use of the property, an itemization of the scope of work expected on the home, and estimated project start and finish dates. Applicants should also complete and submit a purchase offer for the property, a signed Hold Harmless Agreement, and a signed Non-Collusion Statement, all available on the City of Norwich website.

Additionally, all applicants should have the ability to perform any rehabilitative work on the home that's needed. This experience or ability should be properly documented in a narrative accompanying the purchase proposal.
