Earlville Opera House Holiday Events Begin

EARLVILLE – The Earlville Opera House invites you to peruse the first floor of our historic 19th century building and view the wonderland of handmade treasures that are sure to entice and astound you in our 24th annual Holiday Gift Shop. This traditional memorable holiday experience features the best talent of Central New York artists -come shop the best-selling artists of the past with the new and exciting work of first-time participants. The Shop opens on Black Friday, November 26 at 10 a.m. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sundays 12-4 p.m. The Shop will be open through December 22 for your last minute gifting needs. Shop local and support the arts!

In addition, on Saturday, December 4 from 12-3 p.m. in connection with the Village of Earlville’s Holiday Celebration Day, the Opera House will host a Holiday Open House with a bake sale, membership discounts, a “Silent Night” auction table and our coveted Holiday Gift Basket Raffle (tickets only $1). Also on December 4 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Sherburne Music Theater Society will present “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” on the EOH stage. Come on in and warm up with some live theater.

To top off a perfect holiday season, the EOH Mainstage will host legendary bluegrass stars The Gibson Brothers presenting a nostalgic holiday show “A Northern Country Christmas”, on Sunday, December 12 at 2 p.m. As stated by Rolling Stone “They have a fresh batch of original songs!”. Tickets are $40 general admission, $36 members (become a member), with college students half off general admission. Tickets are available at www.earlvilleoperahouse.com or by calling (315) 691-3550.

The Earlville Opera House is located at 18 East Main Street in the charming Village of Earlville, NY and is handicap accessible. Vaccine entry only with proof shown at door.
