COVID Vaccine Update For Chenango County

CHENANGO COUNTY – According to the Chenango County Health Department in the last week 400 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered along with 274 second doses

A total 2,147 doses, counting first and second doses, have been given by the department so far.

This week the department anticipates 300 doses to be received and distribution will go to 1A and 1B priority groups that have been identified by the New York State Health Department

Currently the health department,does not have a waiting list for those under age 65 with comorbidities or underlying health conditions. Please do not contact the department to be on a waiting list. As soon as vaccine availability is beyond the 1A and 1B groups, the department said it would notify the public.
