Commerce Chenango works to support small businesses during health crisis President and CEO of Commerce Chenango Kerri Green, along with Director of Memberships and Programs Mary Miner, go live on Facebook to discuss what Commerce Chenango is doing to help small businesses during the coronavirus pandemic.

CHENANGO COUNTY –    Tuesday, Commerce Chenango held a live broadcast on Facebook to update the community on what the organization is doing for Chenango County during the coronavirus pandemic. 

 

“What I've been working on a lot is advocacy. I've been in constant communication with our state agencies, Empire State Development, the Business Council for New York, the Economic Development Council,” said President and CEO of Commerce Chenango Kerri Green .

 

She has also been in regular contact with New York State Congressman Anthony Brindisi.

Commerce Chenango is trying to make information and guidelines presented by government officials easy to understand and follow.

 

“As we’re getting all these updates from the governor and from officials we’re trying to digest what it all means and how we can help your businesses,” said Green. “We’re doing what we can here at Commerce Chenango to really take the information and digest it and put it back out in a way that's useful to you.”
