Lady Storm Records 10th Win Of Season With 2-1 Win Over Blackhawks

NEW BERLIN – Unadilla Valley held on to win their 10th game of the season with a second half goal by Shelby Meade, defeating Oxford on Tuesday in the Storm’s regular season finale.

UV’s Kyleigh George found teammate Paige Catena to open the scoring in the contest with 11:03 remaining the in first half.

Oxford responded early in the second half when the Blackhawks’ Sammie Emerson made a pass to teammate Karley Marshman.

The late game goal by Meade proved to be the game winner for the Storm as the Blackhawks were unable to answer.

Oxford’s keeper Alexis Kohlhepp made eight saves out of the 10 shots taken by Unadilla Valley while her opponent Meegan White made two stops in goal for the Storm.
