DERUYTER- Emotions were heighted on Friday, as one player from each the OV and DeRuyter soccer teams were ejected during the 75 minute contest. This game did not disappoint as the tightly contested match featured some sublime defensive efforts for both clubs as the Otselic Valley Vikings claimed their final win of the 2017 fall season by the final score of 1-0.

The remaining 60 minutes showed the resilience of the OV squad. With all hands on deck, the Vikings managed to keep the DeRuyter offense at arm’s length by keeping the game knotted at zero.
