Commerce Chenango Diamond member NBT aligned with the chamber to present to the first annual Soiree in the Park, which brought more than 100 business owners along with representatives from all facets of industry to downtown Norwich where a members dinner was provided.

A number of area eateries the likes of Nina's, Fred's Inn, Chobani, Black Bear Winery and Good Nature Farm Brewery were all showcased under one tent.

The awards ceremony portion of the event dolled out two prestigious awards. John Payne, a Bainbridge native who owns several businesses including Paynes Cranes, Bob's Diner and L.D. Dexheimer was presented with the Sam Golden “Entrepreneur of the Year” award.
