Cazenovia 3, S-E 0

CAZENOVIA – Down a pair of key players in the middle of the field due to injury, Sherburne-Earlville found itself on the defensive end in much of Friday’s Section III Class B loss to Cazenovia Friday.

Kevin Porter scored for the Lakers 22 minutes into the game, the only tally his team would need. “It’s just one of those tough things, and I wish we had our guys healthy enough to play,” said S-E coach Mike Rodriguez, who had to replace starters Elijah Morris at center mid and Brady Elderkin at stopper. “With those two not able to play, it leaves a big hole in our team.”
