EDNA BALDWIN
OXFORD – Edna C. Baldwin, 84 of Mechanic St., Oxford, passed away unexpectedly July 12, 2006 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich. 
She was born on Oct. 13, 1921 in Vandling, PA the daughter of the late Frank and May (Majdic) Cerar. On May 26, 1947 in Oxford, she married Dwight Baldwin, who passed away on Oct. 31, 2005.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Mary and Duane Spilde of Walton; her sisters and brother-in-law, Albina and Fran Kolonsky of Tallmadge, Ohio and Tina Root of Oxford; her sisters-in-law, Madeline Cerar of Norwich and Angeline Cerar of Vandling, Pa. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Edna was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Oxford since 1942. She retired from the NYS Veterans’ Home in Oxford after many years of service.
She was a very kind and generous person with a great sense of humor. She loved to knit and enjoyed cooking.
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church, Oxford with the Rev. Thomas Ward, pastor, celebrating the Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Oxford.
 Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Friday from 5-8 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Church or the Oxford Emergency Squad.
