NEW BERLIN – Bettie Pierce Bagnall, 65, of the Town of New Berlin, passed away July 2, 2006 at her home.
Bettie was born July 8, 1940 in Sherburne, a daughter of William & Mollie Elizabeth (Cornett) Pierce. She spent her childhood years in the Sherburne area, graduating from Sherburne Central School. She later obtained a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business.
She was employed by the Chenango Memorial Hospital in the medical records department. She later worked for St. Mary’s Rehabilitation Center of Minneapolis, Mn. Bettie was an avid reader who loved attending family reunions having fun with friends and family in her younger years.
Bettie is survived by three daughters: Arlene (Bagnall) & Steve Freeman of Lancaster, Calif., Penny (Bagnall) & Carl Germany of Olympia, Wa., and Connie (Quattrocchi) & Ronald Finch of Greene; six grandchildren, Carolyn Neubauer, Greg Battin, Daniel Helmig, Keesha Caplan, Jessica Finch and Nickolas Freeman along with five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and four brothers - Roy, Edgar, Jonathan & James Pierce and three sisters - Maggie “Stella” Williams, Gladys Llewellyn and Amanda Lamandia.
Interment will be in the Norwich Norwich Cemetery, North Norwich.
