GREENE – Marjorie I. Holcomb, age 76, passed away after a long illness at Willow Point Nursing Home, Vestal.
She was predeceased by her parents, Hugh Leroy Holcomb Sr. and Lillian (Elliot) Holcomb; three brothers, Hugh L. Holcomb Jr., Layton V. Holcomb Sr., Jerome Holcomb; sister-in-law, Marjorie Holcomb. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dusty and James Reardon, Vestal; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Brenda Tab, North Carolina; grandchildren, Sunnie and Paul Reardon and Danny, Marie and Jessica Tab; brothers, Lee Holcomb and Lynn Holcomb; several nieces and nephews.
Marjorie worked at Greene Bowlodrome for many years before retiring from Valley View Manor Nursing Home at the age of 72. Marjorie was known for her kindness and helping others.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango St., Greene, N.Y. 13778.
Friends of the family may call Friday from 12-2 p.m. at Root Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
