Bradford Albright


NEW BERLIN – Bradford F. Albright, 56, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Born in New Berlin, he was the son of the late Frank and Bernice Albright. Brad was employed at Blue Cross of Northeastern New York for 25 years and went on to work as a consultant for Keane, Inc. and General Electric. More recently, Brad was employed as a computer systems analyst at First Health Services, Inc. in Albany. Brad’s pastimes included gardening, fishing, camping and running. He enjoyed all sports, but was an avid New York Giants Fan. Brad treasured the time spent with family and friends and trips to Las Vegas. People in Brad’s life especially enjoyed his great sense of humor, his compassion, and his nurturing personality.
Brad is the beloved husband of 27 years to Bonnie (Hodack) Albright. He is the devoted father to his three loving children David Stevenson II, Stephanie Lamkin and Kelly Albright of Colonie; and his three cherished grandchildren, Jacob Ruggiero, Jasmine Ruggiero and Ashley Oropallo. Brad is also survived by his brother Erik Albright and his sister Jodi Albright of Norwich, father-in-law Albert Hodack, Sr., stepmother Lena Albright, brother-in-laws Daniel Hodack, Albert Hodack, Jr., Raymond Hodack and Edward LaCorte, his sister-in-laws Cindy LaCorte, Kathy Hodack, Tammy Albright and Jeannie Hodack; aunts Grace Gustafson and Reatha Bennett,  many nieces, nephews and his dear friends. He is predeceased by his Aunt Lillian and Uncle Aldolph Kuhn, and his mother-in-law Eloise Hodack.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m., with a service of prayer and reflection at 7 p.m., at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, 2 Mercycare Lane, Guilderland , NY 12084, the Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205, or to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211, in memory of Bradford F. Albright.
