NORWICH – Lorraine M. Shuemake, 74, of Cavender Creek Road, Carrollton, Ga., passed away Friday, June 22, 2007.
She was born April 1, 1933 in Canton, Pa. to the late Donald M. Monell and Emily L. Schouton Monell. Lorraine was a retired seamstress and was a member of the Roopville Road Baptist Church.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Bill Shuemake; son Danny Shuemake of Thailand; daughter and son-in-law Annette Schave and Trent Schave, also of Carrollton, Ga.; sister Pat Hinman of Norwich; brothers Donald Monell of East Pharsalia; Thomas Matthews of Newnan, Ga. along with five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel, Carrollton, Ga., with Rev. Ralph Hinman officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home Monday, June 25, from 4 until 9 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Lindsey, Russell Richardson, Guy Lindsey, Clarence Turner, Trent Schave, Guy Prewett and Rich Abel. Interment will follow in the Goshen Church Cemetery.
