EVERETT STEWARD JR.
NORWICH – Everett R. Steward Jr., 59, of Ruskin, Fla, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007, at the Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Fla.
The son of Everett R. and Frederica (Crook) Steward Sr., Everett was born in Norwich on Nov. 10, 1947, and lived there the majority of his life. He attended the Norwich schools and had worked in the distribution center of Victory Markets for many years. On Feb. 5, 1986, in North Norwich, Everett married Faye Long; and, in May of 1989, Everett and Faye started their own business, Steward’s Motorcycle Accessories, which they operated until they moved to Florida in May of 2004.
Everett is survived by his wife, Faye Steward of Ruskin, Fla.; by his mother, Frederica Steward of Norwich; his children, Tammi May and husband Phil, and Michael Steward, all of Norwich; step-daughters: Sharon Reihl and husband Richard of Norwich and Susan Morgan and husband Eric of New Hampshire; and his sister and brother, Judy Gray and Larry Steward, both of Oxford. He is also survived by his grandson, Ian May; step-grandchildren, Ricky and Brittany Reihl and Trevin Morgan; nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, Randi Quattrocchi of Oxford; and his father-in-law, Alonzo Long of Norwich.
A memorial service for Everett will be held at 3 p.m. Friday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeremy Stopford of Norwich officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
