MARGARET POZEFSKY
NORWICH – Margaret A. Pozefsky died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. She was 90.
Born on June 27, 1916 in Gloversville, she was the daughter of Samuel and Jane (Blood) Allen.
Mrs. Pozefsky was a graduate of the Knox School in Cooperstown; Dana Hall Academy of Wellesley, Mass.; and the Eastman School of Music, Boston, Mass.
She then married Joseph Pozefsky and they settled in Norwich, where they resided for many years.
In earlier years, she was a member of several music clubs and was an opera singer. She loved everything about nature and spending time with her family and was loved by all who knew her.
Her husband Joseph died in 1976.
She is survived by her son, Martin Pozefsky and his wife Laurie of Ballston Spa; and her daughter Jane Remington and her husband Glenn of Queensbury; four grandchildren: Sarah, Meredith and Joshua Pozefsky and Kaitlin Remington.
Services will be private. Burial will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville.
