FRANCES BLINEBRY
NORWICH – Frances M. “Bunny” Blinebry, 78, of Adelaide Street, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Born in Norwich on May 30, 1929, Frances was the daughter of Bartolo and Frances (Mirabito) Raffaele. She attended the Norwich schools before working at the former Norwich Knitting Mill. She was then a homemaker and housewife, spending her time raising her daughter.
Frances loved to cook and visit with her friends. More recently, she enjoyed riding her scooter around town to socialize. She was a member of St. Bartholomew’s Church.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Donna Nichols and her husband, Kim, of Oxford;  two grandchildren, Sean and Ashley Nichols of Oxford; a brother, Sam Raffaele of Norwich; and an aunt, Mary DeGeorge of Largo, Fla. Several cousins also survive. She was predeceased by two sisters, Angelina Maxim and Catherine Raffaele.
Funeral services for Frances will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Ward, pastor of St. Joseph’s Church in Oxford, will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Paul’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Norwich Emergency Squad, the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
