SHERBURNE – Lee W. Pratt, 56, of Sherburne, passed away Thursday morning, May 24, 2007 at his home.
Born in Sidney on Sept. 19, 1951, Lee was the son of Lewis William and Dorothy (Root) Pratt. He was a graduate of the Bainbridge Guilford High School. In the late 1970s, Lee became involved in theatre and stage and, for a time, was manager of the Phoenix Little Theatre and Factory Company. He lived in California for 20 years, during which time he was Manager of Distribution for Trane Corporation heating and cooling products, where he had his tenure. On Oct. 12, 2001, in San Diego, he married Marina H. Bohnen. Lee was an herbologist, an avid historian, and a collector of pop art. A computer wizard, he was very astute at handling both hardware and software and could make a computer do almost anything. He and his family returned to Norwich in April of 2002.
Lee is survived by his wife, Marina Pratt of Sherburne; by his stepchildren: Edward F. R. Estes Jr., of Virginia Beach, Donna Andrea Estes of Earlville, and Dawn E. Puliti of Baltimore; by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his sisters, Betty Jane Hibbard of Deposit and Madeleine Wilson of Susquehanna, Pa.; his brother Kenneth Pratt of New Milford, Pa.; and nieces and nephews. Lee was predeceased by his sister, Ramona Garramone, and brothers James and Thomas Pratt.
Private memorial services for Lee were held at his home.
Arrangements were by the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home.
