NORWICH – Franklin D. Snell of Lexington, Mass., died May 6, 2007.
He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Ann (Doherty) and the son of Marjorie L. (Bockus) of Norwich, and the late Franklin D. Snell. Father of  Michael  D. Snell of Maine, and George F. Snell, John F. Snell, and Noreen M. Ghio, all of Massachusetts; brother of Patricia White of Norwich, Mary Edholm of Oneonta, Donna Getsy of Binghamton, Rose Marie Rowlinsonn of Norwich, Frederick Snell of Nashville, Tenn., Robert Snell of Keysville, Ga., Donald Snell of Norwich, and James Snell of Norwich.
Franklin was the Assistant Chief Firefighter for Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Mass. and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Mass of Christian burial was held May 10 at St. Brigid Church in Lexington, Mass. Interment followed at Westview Cemetery in Lexington.
