NORWICH – Wayne Ivon Lobdell, 69, of Norwich, formerly of the Town of Pittsfield, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Valley View Manor, Norwich.
He was born Sept. 3, 1937 in Plymouth, the son of Ivon & Clarabel (Davis) Lobdell. He attended the German Hollow School in the Town of Plymouth and was a 1955 graduate of Sherburne Central School. Wayne was a longtime dairy farmer and carpenter.
He is survived by two sons: Jeff Lobdell of New Jersey and Steve Lobdell of Missouri; two grandchildren also survive.
Wayne was predeceased by one sister, Elaine Hicks, in 2004.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin. The Reverend Neil Bendixen of the Canasawacta Valley
Interment will be in the Sherburne West Hill Cemetery.
