NORWICH – Nicholas R. “Nick” Eaton, 20, resident of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2007 in a traffic accident in Davenport.
He was born Dec. 17, 1986 in Vermillion, S.D., the son of Paul R. and Tina L. (Welch) Eaton.
Nick was a 2005 graduate of Bettendorf (IA) High School where he was a member of the varsity wrestling team. He worked various jobs in the Quad-Cities, most recently at Happy Joe’s Restaurant in Davenport, Iowa. Fishing was one of Nick’s favorite things to do. He also enjoyed ATV’s, was an avid Steamwheeler’s fan and loved music, especially Metallica.
Those left to honor his memory include his son, Riley Robert Eugene Ames of Davenport, Iowa; his mother and step-father, Tina and Robert Deming of Sioux city, Iowa; his father and step-mother, Paul R. and Agnes S. Eaton of Norwich; his sisters Kelli Deming of Phoenix, Ariz., Sarah Deming and Emily Deming, both of Sioux City, Iowa, Catherine Eaton of Norwich and Bridget Eaton of Augusta, Ga.; his brothers, Damon Deming and Ryan Deming, both of Sioux City, Iowa, Matthew Eaton and Connor Eaton, both of Norwich; his grandmother, Annette Eaton of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and grandfather, Thomas J. Eaton, Sr. and wife Theodora of Vero Beach, Fla.; beloved girlfriend, Elizabeth Shee, of Davenport, Iowa along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.
Nick was preceded in death by his uncle, Steve Deming.
Funeral services will be held at the Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Sioux City, Iowa on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa.
