Lillian Bouvier


OXFORD – Lillian June Bouvier of Oxford passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at her home.
She was born June 25, 1919, daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Kiff) Besley in Pennsylvania. Lillian married Arthur J. Bouvier on March 8, 1941 in Sidney. He predeceased her on Jan. 30, 2002. She was employed as a clerk for Bendix in Sidney until she retired in 1976. Lillian loved animals and was past president of the Delaware Valley Humane Society as well as a past member the Sidney Golf and Country Club and Sidney Elks Lodge, She was an avid golfer and bowler.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Jeffrey and Linda Bouvier, Milford, Conn.; three daughters and sons-in-law: Michelle and Ken Newton of Ridgecrest, Calif., Nicole Shaver and Mark Cummings of Oxford and Jacqueline Bouvier and John Pardee of Sidney; two grandchildren: Geoffrey Bouvier of San Diego, Calif. and Courtenay Bouvier, Iowa. She is also predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
