Robert Kuhn

SOUTH NEW BERLIN – Robert L. Kuhn, 55, a life-long South New Berlin resident, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, March 24, 2007 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Born on Nov. 5, 1951, in New Berlin, Bob was the son of William and Barbara (Smith) Kuhn. He attended and graduated from the South New Berlin schools and subsequently attended SUNY Delhi. A jack of all trades, Bob would always be found doing something mechanical. He had held many different jobs, having worked in construction, in auto mechanics, and as a cable lineman, and had worked for Webster Paving. Bob could make any tool he needed if one was not readily available. Very proud to call South New Berlin his home, he was considered the “sweetest guy on Earth” until he was irritated, and then look out. Bob was a family man at heart who was a very proud dad and grandpa.
Bob is survived by his son, Jason Kuhn and wife Heather of Norwich; by his mother, Barbara Baldwin of Norwich; and by grandchildren Robert and Raylynne Kuhn; by his companion of many years, Leah Adams, and her children and grandchildren: by his sister: Linda Johnson and husband Richard of Bradenton, Fla.; and by his brother, William Kuhn of Norwich, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bob was predeceased by his dad, William Kuhn, and his brother, Michael Kuhn.
Funeral services for Bob will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. Kurt Funke of South New Berlin will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery of South New Berlin. Friends are invited to call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
Those wishing to remember Bob with a memorial contribution may send it to the South New Berlin Fire Dept., South New Berlin, NY 13843.
