Margaret Natoli

NORWICH – Margaret M. Natoli, 87, of Norwich, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
The daughter of Milford and Elizabeth (Platt) Angle, Margaret was born on May 13, 1919, in Oxford, where she grew up and attended the local schools. On Feb. 12, 1949, in Great Bend, Pa., she and Anthony Natoli were married. They moved to Norwich 3-4 years later and, working side by side, undertook the operation of an industrial cleaning service in and around the Norwich area. Margaret and Anthony both loved to go to garage sales and to shop, and to find a great bargain. Margaret was a crocheter, knitter, and tatter, who took great pleasure in giving the items she created to her children and grandchildren. A “collectaholic,” with a vast collection of knickknacks, she enjoyed poking around in the dollar stores.
Margaret is survived by Anthony Natoli of Norwich, her husband for 58 years; by her children: Gwendolyn Davis and husband Gerry of Cornwall, Ontario, Shirley VanDewerker and husband Paul of Maryland, N.Y., and Cathy Roark and husband Randy of Mulberry, Ind.; by her grandchildren: Robert, Lisa, Lori, Rita, David, Mike, Bob, Kevin, and Brian; by 9 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; and by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister and brother, Beatrice Angle and Milo Angle.
A Mass of Resurrection for Margaret will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday from St. Paul’s Church of Norwich. Interment will be at a later date in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Thursday from 7-9 p.m.; and at the Marian Chapel at St. Paul’s Church on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.
