Phillip Azud


EARLVILLE – Phillip T. Azud, 50, of Fayette St., passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton.
He was born January 11, 1963 in Danbury, CT, a son of the late Robert E. and Phyllis Legassie Azud. He was raised in Maryland and educated in local schools. On September 10, 1989, Phillip married Judy A. Persad in Gaithersburg, MD. They lived in Maryland and Florida before settling in upstate New York. Phillip was a software engineer for Custom Command Systems in Florida; and was a consultant for Avanti Home Entertainment in Utica. He was a member of the Lighthouse Community Church in Earlville.
Surviving are his wife, Judy; mother-in-law, Angela Persad of Trinidad; children, Tiffany Azud of FL; Ian, Matthew and Jared Azud of Earlville; Ashley Stevens of AZ, and Craig Stevens of FL; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia Melnick, Carol and Francis Lee, all of Earlville; Lydia and Oscar Gregory of MD; Heather and Brian Morrison of NC; a brother, William Thomas Azud of MD; two grandchildren, Dominic and Isabella; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Azud.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from the Lighthouse Community Church, 51 S. Main St., Earlville.
There are no calling hours.
