MARJORIE HALTNER
SOUTH NEW BERLIN – Marjorie “Jeri” Haltner, 74, of South New Berlin, passed away Tuesday morning, September 17, 2013 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 14, 1939, Jeri was the daughter of Stanley and Marjorie (Randall) Judkins. Moving to New York, Jeri met and married dairy farmer John O. Haltner.
With her New England background, Jeri brought another dimension to her farm life including antiquing and organizing many memorable family reunions.
Jeri is survived by her sons, Adam and Karl Fritz; sisters, Jackie Guensler and Jeannine Judkins; sister-in-law, Joyce (Bob) Horan; step-children, John A. Haltner, Robert M. Haltner, and Dawn Allen; and grandchildren Robert M. Haltner Jr., Kala Haltner, John A. Haltner II and Lillian Haltner. She was predeceased by her husband, John O. Haltner and a sister, Hope Thrane.
Friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Norwich.
