GREENE – Barbara M. Kliment, 56, of Greene, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2013. She was born on May 30, 1957 in Oneonta a daughter of the late Vern and Eneth (Roe) Walley. On December 17, 1978 she married Gary F. Kliment, who survives.
Besides her husband, Gary, she is survived by her children, Michael and Tanya Kliment of Columbus, MS, and Eneth Davenport of Greene; her grandchildren, Dakota Davenport, Cheyenne Davenport, Hunter Davenport, Kane Stafford, Kelsy Stafford and Konnor Kliment; her brother, Robert Walley of Oneonta; her sister, Elizabeth and Arthur Dejoy of Oneonta and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Vern Walley Jr., and her sister, Joanne Goodspeed.
Barb was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed making her family her first priority. She was a graduate of Oneonta High School and had worked at Raymond Corporation and was a group leader at Amphenol in Sidney. She loved country music and dancing, but her passion was travel in her motor home. She also enjoyed crocheting.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, at the Kennedy Funeral Home, 21 N. Chenango St., Greene, with the Rev. Amy Gregory, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal.
