BINGHAMTON – Rev. Donald Norman MacKenzie, of Binghamton, 75, went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 23, 2013.
Donald was predeceased by his parents, Donald A. and Marjorie E. (Stanton) MacKenzie, a son, Timothy and a grandson, Andrew Neal. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara J. (Grace) MacKenzie, his children; Norman and Cheryl, Cynthia and Herbert Neal, Michael, Kevin and Kathleen; grandchildren David and Brittany, Joshua, Amber Rose, Justine, Noah and Tegan, Kristin amd Ben, Alex, Kyle, Keith, Kameron, great grandchildren; Saydie, Stella, Isabella, Grace, and Nora; sisters Marilyn Waterman, Doris Miller, brothers-in-law Gordon Brown and Wayne Bement, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Donald was a graduate of Southside High School in Elmira and a graduate of Practical Bible Training School (Davis College) in Johnson City. He acted as pastor at many churches in New York, and was Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church, South Otselic. Donald was also a member of the Central Baptist Church, Binghamton.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Central Baptist Church, 1606 State Rte 12, Binghamton, NY 13901. Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery, Wellsburg, NY. Friends may call at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday.
