AUBURN – Irene Zbydniewski, 63, of Seymour St., passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at her home.
She was born July 8, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of Chester R. and Sophie Han Zbydniewski. Her early years were spent in Salt Lake City, UT where she received her education. Irene married Joseph Wetzel, who predeceased her. Irene had lived in the Auburn area for many years where she worked for Tessy Plastics Inc. and most recently for TRW Automotive.
Surviving are her daughters, Shawn Holm of SC and Dawn Cole of GA; a sister, Mary Ann Fisher of Munnsville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Chester A. Zbydniewski of Sherburne and John and Kathy Zbydniewski of Smyrna; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 from St. Malachy’s Church, East State St., Sherburne.
Interment will be private in St. Malachy’s Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
