Theodore Ingham


GUILFORD – Theodore R. “Ted” Ingham, 74, of Guilford, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Ted was born on Feb. 16, 1939 in New Berlin the son of Wright Zebulon DeForest Ingham and Vera Bailey Ingham. He grew up in Guilford and was a 1957 graduate of the Guilford High School. Ted had lived in Guilford his entire life and worked for the B&B Ready Mix for over 30 years.
Ted was proud of his family and was a down to earth individual who was warm and cheerful to be around. He was a hard worker all of his life, had a passion for snowmobiling, and was a life member of the Guilford Fire Dept.
Ted is survvied by his children, Vicki Hobgood and husband Sterling of NC, Teddi Marie “Sis” Brown and husband David of of PA, Peggy Graves and husband Steve of GA, Paige Ingham of New Berlin, Brian Ingham of Guilford, and Troy R. Ingham and wife Kelly of Guilford; his sisters Carol Hubbard and husband Francis of Guilford, Sheila Nightengale and husband Bob of Oxford, brothers Charlie Ingham and wife Mona of Guilford, Mark Ingham and significant other Deb of Sherburne, and his special friend Barb Wakeman of Sidney. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ted was predeceased by his brother Jack Ingham-Brownson.
A celebration of Ted’s life was held at 1 p.m. on Sunday from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. His son-in-law, David Brown, and many other of Ted’s family members and friends offered reflections of his life.
